Day 15 - Coming home

Saturday July 29 - The majority of the Canadian team returned home today feeling very thankful and praising our Lord for allowing them to carry out the planned goals of sharing the Good News and love of Jesus Christ through every ministry and more. Beyond the pre-planned events of kids camp where over 800 attended over 3 days, women’s and men’s conferences with over 100 attending each, a marriage conference, teens and young adult ministry, where many reaffirmed or made a decision to follow Jesus. The team were also able to visit communities and schools to hand out essential needs such as groceries, almost 300 bags, and school supplies to those in need. We also brought clothes and shoes to a boys’ orphanage and toiletries and basic hygiene products to local clinics which the mission has supported for years. The impact was not just spiritual but met needs in a very tangible way.  We had the opportunity to pray for the receivers while handing them these gifts.  It was truly a transformational and eye-opening experience for the team who give all the glory to our Lord Jesus, who first loved us so that they could extend His love to the island of Roatan!

Many are already looking forward to experiencing what the Lord has in store for us in the coming year!

The work does not end here as faithful supporters of the mission will continue to serve in the same spirit until we can meet again in person. Gloria a Dios!
