And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. - Acts 8:31
DAY 14 - Friday July 27 -  Tia Darla started and closed off our day sharing from Mark 14:3-5 (The Anointing at Bethany); encouraging us that just as the woman who broke the alabaster flask of costly oil and poured it on Jesus' head that we all had done a good work for Him. The highlight of our day of rest would be witnessing young Naya's and Amanda's baptism on a West End beach by Naya's father, Pastor Joel, and Pastor Darrell and Minister Tara, respectively. God however, as He alone can, would exceed our expectations this day. - DC

Our last day in Roatan was a quiet rest day, with no events planned - but it ended with a bang!! This evening after supper we sat together as a team and each shared a highlight of our time, as well as, something we appreciated about another team member. We have all been so blessed these two weeks, both by the Lord and by each other!

As we were in the middle of this, Charles came in with another man, Oscar, who is an architect.  Charles had worked with him previously and was surprised to find that Oscar is the architect who will be working on Shirly's home/retreat centre here in Roatan. As Charles and Oscar were driving here to meet with Shirly, Charles presented the gospel. Oscar got it and said, "So what's next?" By this time they had arrived at our hotel, Pastor Darrell, and the men in the group, proceeded to pray with him as he received Christ! The swimming pool was only a few feet away, so after a few minutes talk, Oscar was baptized then and there. We serve an awesome God!!

What an incredible two weeks it has been, as we been privileged to be a small part of God's mighty Hand building His Kingdom! May I suggest that you begin to ask God now if He wants you to join the Roatan Alive team in 2020? - DG

Prayer requests:
• That Oscar, as well as all those who trusted Christ this week, would be kept safe, and that the Lord would grow them in Him.
• That we and our luggage would get safely home through two flights and two sets of customs
inspections (US and CDN).

As we prepare ourselves to return home, I cannot help but think about who will continue to do the work that is needed here in Roatan? Who will continue to guide these young ones in the faith? It has become abundantly clear that God has already mobilized faithful men, women and children to do so and that we serve a God who is mightier than we can ever fathom. He will make a way. Please continue to pray for the people of Roatan and Honduras. - DC

God will make a way.... Don Moen

God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

Oh, God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

By a roadway in the wilderness, He'll lead me
And rivers in the desert will I see
Heaven and Earth will fade but His Word will still remain
And He will do something new today

Oh, God will make a way
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me

He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way

With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way
