DAY 1 - Saturday, July 14 - We are on the ground in Roatan ... We arrived in Coxen Hole at 1:22PM local time and what a welcome!!! The local airport was just a sea of yellow shirts as the teams that had arrived earlier from Toronto, Connecticut and Miami were there to welcome us to Roatan. After being expedited through immigration a lady asked me at the baggage carousel asked me what group we were with. When I told her Roatan Alive and that our events were at ESBIR, her face immediately lit up and she thanked us for coming and that she appreciated all the work that we had been doing over the years. We were all then shuttled by our faithful and skillful drivers, Edgar and Johan, for a delicious Roatan lunch at a local restaurant where the cook is a relation of Darla.... the running joke is that Darla is related to half the island, which I believe to be only half the truth. - DC

The word that pastor Joel bought forth was amazing. He spoke about the young servant girl who God used to help Naaman cleansed from his leprosy 2 Kings 5 1-14 and he also mentioned the little boy in John chapter 6, who had 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes that he was willing to give up to feed thousands of people and Jesus took it and multiplied it and everyone was fed. He showed the young people that God can also use them at a young age. And how shall they preach unless they are sent? - Rom 10:14-15 Saturday July 12 - The majority of the Roatan Alive Mission team started their journeys to Roatan during the wee hours of the morning today from different cities in North America. They appreciated prayers for travelling mercies to the island. Meanwhile, preparations continued this week for the first two events, "God's Girls" and "Daughters of the King", which will be held on Sunday afternoon. The speakers will be Minister Tara Owens and Bibianna Green (Spanish). In the morning, the team will attend First Baptist Church for a church service with Pastor Rupert Solomon. RAM 2026: A New Creation in Christ

Friday July 17 -   RAM 2026 is in flight!!! After months of prayer and preparation, the main contingent of the Toronto team were packed and prepared to leave for Roatan. Lead by Dan and Kimberley, all were brimming with excitement whether they were first-timers or veterans. The Canadian team arrived bright eyed today at Toronto Pearson Airport in the wee hours of Saturday morning for their flight. They will be joined by the rest of the team who are travelling from Florida and other parts of the USA.  This year’s mission theme is A New Creation in Christ - 2 Corinthians 5:17. The Roatan Alive Mission will be celebrating 20 years since its inception!!! Gloria a Dios!!! Please pray for safe travels, that flight connections will be made, luggage arrives safely, good health, encouragement, strength, unity and God's blessing of the fruit of the Spirit for the entire team. We pray that all will arrive safely in Roatan where there will be a welcome party worthy of these sons...
